GOLDEN EAGLETS SHOWS DOMINANCE AS THEY SOAR HIGHER WITH A 5-1 VICTORY OVER CHILE

Nigeria Golden Eaglet continues to keep its impressive form as they took over Estadio Sausalito Vina Del Mar from the host country Chile, beating them by five goals to one.

The first goal was put into the net by Samuel Chukwueze in less than a minute into the match. By the 17th minute, Captain Kelechi Nwakali scored a penalty awarded to the Golden Eaglets.

Chukwueze had his fair share of the goals as he netted the third goal. A goal that was soon backed by a brilliant free kick from Osimhen in the 67th minute.

Chile got a consolation goal from Marcelo Allende via a cross from Luciano Diaz.

Despite a short-one for the Nigerian team following Funsho's red card, Osimhen got his second goal of the match and third in the tournament at 86th minute.

Nigeria has progressed to the knock-out stage but will be playing Croatia, their last group stage match on the 23rd of October at Estadio Francisco Sanchez Rumoroso Coquinbo (4:00pm Nigeria time).
